HOW MUCH WOULD IT COST TO PAY MY BROWARD TRAFFIC TICKET?
Broward Traffic Ticket Fine
Amounts
Read this before paying your traffic ticket:
If you pay your traffic citation, you are pleading guilty, waiving your right to contest the citation
in court, and may be assessed points to your driving record. Please consult with a traffic ticket attorney to discuss your
options. Failure to choose an option within 30 days from the date the citation was written may result in the suspension of
your driving privileges.
Non-Payable Traffic Tickets in Broward County
Criminal traffic tickets and mandatory speeding tickets are not payable.
A speeding ticket is mandatory if you are charged with exceeding the speed limit by 30 mph. Mandatory speeding tickets require
a court date. You cannot elect traffic school, or choose to pay them. We strongly suggest that you hire a traffic ticket attorney
to attend the court date on your behalf.
For traffic citations relating to vehicle registration, insurance, or driver's license, you must go
in person, and show the Broward clerk of court proof of compliance, or sign an affidavit stating that you no longer own a
vehicle.
Traffic
ticket fine amounts are constantly changing, so verify the amount with the Broward County Clerk of Court before making your
payment. Below are traffic ticket fee amounts for common Broward County traffic ticket violations. (Revised
